CHESELBOURNE AND DISTRICT GARDEN CLUB
Cheselbourne and District Garden Club draws members from local villages and welcomes new members. We have monthly meetings with speakers, two garden club shows each year and other various events and outings. Coffee Morning 'get together' on the first Thursday of every month. Meet at the Brewery Village Hall in Ansty from 10.30am to noon for tea, coffee, biscuits and home made cake—all for just £1. It's a wonderful opportunity to catch up with friends and meet new neighbours. Hilton Neighbours Get Together. Second Saturday every month 10am-12noon in the village church. An opportunity for all villagers to share delicious cake and coffee as well as good conversation. HEART OF DORSET ENVIRONMENT GROUP (HoDEG)
The Heart of Dorset Environment Group (HoDEG) is open to everyone living in the Parish of Hilton and surrounding villages who is interested in their local environment. HoDEG has organised a very successful public meeting on renewable energy options, worked to improve local Rights of Way and led expert guided walks. The group published The Natural World of Hilton Parish [available for £4.95] and funds raised from sales bought gates to replace awkward stiles on the Jubilee Trail in Ansty, which is a popular walk for both locals and visitors to this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Please join HoDEG on Saturday 17th May for a walk to officially open the Jubilee Trail. Meet outside the Fox Inn at 2pm.

MILTON ABBAS ART GROUP
Milton Abbas Art Group aims to bring together local amateur artists who are interested in sketching, drawing and painting. The group meets weekly on Mondays at 7.00pm in the Reading Room to work on individual projects, try out new ideas and occasionally watch a demonstration by a local professional artist.
