Hilton litter pick and parish tidy!
13th and 14th March 2021
Unfortunately the litter situation in the lanes and parking areas surrounding Hilton and Ansty is as bad, if not worse than ever. To address this problem, we will be holding the annual Litter Pick, but in a different way to ensure everyone remains covid-safe!
Those who would like to get involved should email me as soon as possible, and I will allocate a stretch of road for you to pick. You can collect sanitized litter pickers, gloves, bags and hi-viz vests from Warren Farm on or after Friday 12th March and then clear your area at a time convenient for you over the weekend. Once you have finished, you would return your equipment to Warren Farm and either leave your collected rubbish at the top of the drive or let me know where you have placed bags etc on your route so we can retrieve them.
There will be no meeting up and sadly no lunch this year but we hope to re-introduce that in 2022.
THIS LITTER PICK IS DESPERATELY NEEDED SO PLEASE DO VOLUNTEER TO ENSURE HILTON AND ANSTY PARISH REMAINS AN AREA OF OUTSTANDING NATURAL BEAUTY!
