Summary of the meeting of the Parish Council meeting 2nd March 2021 for Ansty, Higher Ansty and Melcombe Bingham and Hilton
Parish Councillors present: Justine McGuiness (chairman), Catherine Langham, Shulla Jaques, Clive Jones, Marion Walbridge and George Sotiriadis

The Parish Council will review responses to the sewerage questionnaire after 26th March when the survey concludes.
The Parish Council has agreed to hold bi-monthly meetings for a trial period. This means that the next meeting will be on Tuesday 4th May, and there will no meeting in April. The next meeting after May will be on Tuesday 6th July. These arrangements will be reviewed in September 2021.
Planning Application reference P/FUL/2020/00470 Aller Cottage, Aller Lane, Lower Ansty, Dorchester, DT2 7PX – proposal to erect a replacement two storey dwelling with a detached garage (demolish existing dwelling).
There were no objections to this proposal which has the full support of the Parish Council.
Planning Application reference P/HOU/2020/00393 8 Hilton – Erect two storey rear extension
The Parish Council has not received any objections to this proposal and had advised Dorset Planning accordingly.
The poor condition of the road between Stoke Wake and Bulbarrow has been reported to Dorset Highways. The Parish Council will review parish boundaries during the Community Governance Review consultation period to be held later this year.
The Clerk will write to a landowner concerning damage to the historic railings near Milton Abbas.
